Want to speak at CIS? This form allows you to pitch for a profession session at the CIS Online events:

CIS Search Marketing: May 25-26-27-28, 2015
CIS Affiliate Marketing: July 20-21-22-23, 2015
CIS Traffic & Leads: September 28-29-30 October 1, 2015
CIS Social & Content Marketing: October 26-27-28-29, 2015
CIS E-Commerce: December 7-8-9-10, 2015

How To Create The Perfect Pitch for a Session
To increase the odds of being selected as a speaker at the CIS events, keep these following important points in mind when crafting your pitch:

  • Submit a proposal based on your expertise, not what you think we want to see. We are looking for hands-on take-aways that can be applied by the attendees.
  • Proposals should be of an advanced nature. We are not interested in introductory material. Also, it must be original material – don’t propose a session you’ve already given anywhere else.
  • Provide your key takeaways that the audience can use right away.
  • Be very specific about what you intend to speak and cover in your session.
  • Include in your pitch: specific facts, advice, industry insight, relevant case studies, or showcase success with partners, methodology, results, research/insight, tactics & takeaways, high level strategies and more.
  • Don’t talk about yourself, your company, products, services or past presentations in the pitch description – leave your personal details for the speaker bio section.
  • You may submit multiple proposals in one event or a few. You MUST complete a separate submission form for each session and event, even if you are submitting for the same event.
  • Please write your bio and abstract in the 3rd person as it would be listed on the CIS website as well as on the CIS program.

Please know that each proposal will be carefully reviewed by our professional team. Due to high volume of pitches, we may be unable to respond to all submissions. Selected submissions will be immediately notified. All sessions are pre-recorded 3-4 weeks prior to the CIS. If you’re accepted to speak, you’ll receive a VIP pass to the CIS event.

Please note: Please do not apply if you have a sales pitch in mind. We are looking for advanced, value-add sessions to inspire our worldwide audience!
